It’s a good time to be Jana Kramer.
The 31-year-old country singer and husband Michael Caussin are expecting their first child together, E! News confirms. The exciting news comes less than three months after the couple tied the knot in a small ceremony in Charlottesville, Virginia.
“Being a mom will be the greatest job I’ll ever have,” the former One Tree Hill star tells People, which was first to reporting the pregnancy news. “I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be on this journey with the love of my life.”
“I am so incredibly excited about becoming a father,” the 28-year-old football player added. “For me it is just another dream come true and I can not imagine tackling parenthood with anyone else but Jana.”

Caussin popped the question to Kramer in Nashville following a whirlwind four-month courtship. A little over five months later, the lovebirds said I-do.
“It was a beautiful surprise,” the bride-to-be said of her engagement, which came one-day after her 31st birthday. “He was the perfect gentleman. Nervous, on one knee, and surrounded by some of the people that love us the most.”
This will be the first child for both Caussin and Kramer, who was previously married to Michael Gambino in 2004 and to Johnathon Schaech from 2010 to 2011. She was also engaged to fellow country singer Brantley Gilbert before they split in 2013.
“We are beyond thrilled to be entering the path of parenthood together,” the pair said of their new adventure. “Words can not describe how happy and blessed we feel to become parents.”
