Andy Cohen and Sarah Jessica Parker = friends with benefits?!

The Watch What Happens Live star has accompanied SJP to the 2016 Met Gala in New York City on Monday night, and was quick to boast that he had the “hottest date” at the event when he chatted with E! News’ Catt Sadler on the red carpet.

“You know what I’m going to do at the end of the night?” he added. “Have my way with Sarah Jessica Parker!”

Can we please be BFFs with Andy and SJP?! The duo have attended the Met Gala together several times, and seem to have more fun together each year.

When Catt asked Andy what the duo did in the car just before walking the red carpet, the Bravo honcho teased, “I can’t tell actually, it was good!”

Andy and SJP have been friends for years, with the WWHL host telling Out magazine, “We met when I was a producer on The Morning Show, at CBS. I saw her a year later when I was at the first Vanity Fair party, I was behind the rope, interviewing people. And she remembered me from that day.”

While the 2016 Met Gala’s theme was “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” the Sex and the City fashion icon decided to rock a look that seemed to be inspired by the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, complete with flounce sleeves and cameo necklace.

Leading up to the red carpet, SJP teased her look on Instagram, posting a photo of her heels, which helped to modernize the look.

Encouraged these @sjpcollection ladies to do a dry run on THESE steps in anticipation of THOSE steps later on. If you know what I mean,” she captioned the pic.
