Billionaire wall fetishist Donald Trump lied to a small child Saturday, claiming to be Batman.
The Republican presidential candidate was giving helicopter rides to kids at the Iowa State Fair when the subject came up, CNN reports. A 9-year-old boy named William was filming the ride with a GoPro when he asked Trump, “Are you Batman?”
Trump growled back, “I am Batman,” while the other adults chuckled.
That response inspired Twitter users to employ the hashtag #BatTrump to speculate what Trump as the Dark Knight would actually look like.
The comment came the same day that another Caped Crusader died in a roadside crash. Lenny B. Robinson, a 51-year-old Maryland-based Batman impersonator known for visiting sick children, had been driving his Batmobile to see young hospital patients for more than a decade.
