Jennifer Lopez’s family is her ”stability”.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker – who shares eight-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony – relies on them to keep her grounded.
She said: ”My family is my stability. They’re so solid for me. When you think of shoes you think of being grounded. There was a connection there for me. They keep me grounded.”
And the 47-year-old singer and actress feels ”very fortunate” to be famous and live the life she does.
She added to DailyMail.com: ”I just love what I do. I feel very fortunate. To now be here launching my own shoe collection with an amazing artist and being able to work with amazing artists and do what I love, that’s where I get my stamina. I live with a lot of gratitude.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer previously confessed she suffers from mom guilt when she gets sidetracked by her work.
She said: ”If I get lost in my work for a little while I feel guilty. I feel so guilty when I come out of that haze. Like, ‘Oh God, it’s been seven hours and I haven’t even checked on them. What is wrong with me? What kind of mother are you?’
”It’s having good people to help you take care of those kids. My kids visit me at the set [of her new television show ‘Shades of Blue’]. They have a room on the set so after school they come right there.
”I try to shoot this show in the summer so it’s only a couple of months that I’m doing the show when they’re in school. We work it out and have a life and this is their life.”
