Idris Elba set tongues wagging about the state of his relationship at the BAFTAs last night (Sunday May 8) when he appeared on the red carpet with his supposed former girlfriend, 28-year-old make-up artist, Naiyana Garth.

Rumours circled the pair that they had called time on their three-year relationship at the start of February but it seems the couple are very much back together after a loved up display at the award ceremony.
The couple – who are parents to 23-month-old Winston – beamed as they walked into the awards with their arms around each other.

The couple began dating in early 2013 and it wasn’t long before Naiyana had fallen pregnant.
Idris was nominated in the lead actor character for cop drama Luther but sadly missed out in the top spot, losing out to Mark Rylance from Wolf Hall.

However, it was Elba that triumphed in the same category at the SAG awards.
The 43-year-old actor – who has been rumoured to be taking over the 007 spot – also presented the award for best comedy performance by a female actress and admitted he had lost his voice.
He said: “I’ve lost my voice so bear with me, I’m not drunk I promise.”
