Giuliana Rancic Explains Her Obsession With Tori Spelling, Asks

Giuliana Rancic has a question for Dean McDermott.

“I believe he was trying to cheer her up,” the E! News host dished during an interview for The Meredith Vieira show, airing Friday, talking about Dean’s recent trip—caught by paparazzi and everything—to an adult-toy shop while wife Tori Spelling was hospitalized with bronchitis and a severe sinus infection. Dean had told Giuliana herself in a sit-down with E! last week that he was just trying to brighten Tori’s spirits with a gag gift.

“I pose this question,” Giuliana continued. “If your husband has an affair and says, ‘You know what, I can’t get enough of making love to you and it’s all I want to do all the time,’ and you’re in the hospital, it’s kind of the last thing you want to do. But he shows up with toys and is like, ‘Let’s go, baby!’ You’re like,” she added, miming a woman in the hospital, ‘get away from me!'”

So G. has her own conspiracy theory as to what Dean’s true intentions were.

You must watch the clip here to really see Giuliana getting her point across, after which she cooled down and said, deadpain, “So I just feel like flowers would have been nice.”

Too funny. But why, again, were they talking about Tori and Dean, whose rocky marriage is being chronicled weekly on Lifetime’s True Tori.

“I’m slightly obsessed with Tori Spelling—all things Tori Spelling,” Giuliana admitted.

Hey, who isn’t these days?!

Dean told Giuliana last week, “I would love for the public to see me as just a human being. I’m just trying. I’m trying to get through this life, I’m trying to do some good and I’m trying to teach my kids right from wrong and just have a good life.”

A few days beforehand, after catching all sorts of heat on social media for the sex shop photos that was presumably fueled by his past behavior and his wife’s general misery as seen on True Tori, the Chopped Canada host unleashed a slew of indignation on Twitter.
