Kicking off Super Bowl weekend with a ring!
Before performing at one of the hottest football parties in San Francisco Saturday night, Elle King received the ultimate surprise when her boyfriend got down on one knee with one important question.
“Fergie asked me to marry him on a sailboat under the Golden Gate Bridge,” the “Ex’s and Oh’s” singer shared on Twitter. “I said yes.”
The lucky groom–to-be added, “I asked this girl to marry me today underneath the golden great bridge. Guess what? She said yes. @elleking.”
On a perfectly sunny day, the couple was all smiles as they posed for a picture on the ocean blue waters. And while we didn’t see a clear shot of the piece of bling just yet, these two looked happy enough after changing their relationship status.

The big news also comes shortly before the couple walked the red carpet at the Rolling Stone Live San Francisco Party. In fact, Elle was on-hand to perform alongside Travis Scott and Avicii.
The 26-year-old will soon head back to Los Angeles where she is expected to attend the 2016 Grammy Awards where she is nominated in two categories including Best Rock Song.
“It’s so crazy. I can’t even—I’m always so chatty, and I can’t even find my words. I don’t know what to do with myself,” she told Billboard when reacting to her nominations. “I’m just like, I don’t know, it’s insane! Who would have ever thought this? You dream about it when you’re a little kid, but I never thought that this would ever happen in a million years. I don’t know. It’s so crazy. It’s an honor.”
