Wired and Wireless Connectivity – Digital and analogue inputs for music and movies, the CXR120 and CXR200 have extensive network and wireless music playback capabilities. Streaming music over your home network or from USB hard drives, they can play everything from compressed MP3 formats, up to 24-bit – 192kHz studio master quality FLAC, WAV and Apple Lossless files. Their wireless playback capabilities also include internet radio, Spotify and even Bluetooth. There’s even support for DSD, allowing you to playback SACDs from your Blu-ray or universal player. More Power and Functionality – The CXR200 offers a significant step up in performance and functionality from its CXR120 sibling. There’s more power on tap from the huge toroidal transformer, 200w per channel, plus an additional HDMI input, bringing the total to eight. The CXR200 also supports zone 2 features. You can independently change the source on the second HDMI output, with selectable audio to match the video signal. The CXR200 utilizes a Cirrus Logic DSP processor and high resolution DACs. We’ve chosen this route because we believe Cirrus Logic are setting the standard when it comes to AV Receiver DSP processing.
Intelligent Post Processing – When it comes to post processing, our CX receivers will auto-configure their output for the best results, based on your chosen speaker setup or if you prefer, you can manually choose what post processing you want to use.
The CXR200 comes with an auto-calibration microphone which measures speaker distances and optimizes volume. Unlike some rival auto calibration systems, we don’t alter the tonal character of your speakers at all
An excellent network streaming device, the CXR200 can play files from your NAS drive or IPnP server and can be connected via Ethernet cable or wirelessly via Wi-Fi. There’s also Bluetooth aptX via an optional BT100 dongle.
Front ports of the CXR offer USB, MP3, and HDMI with MHL support. The rear of the machine offers similar levels of compatibility with HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs to give twin displays or two zones.
