Rush: Inspired by Battlefield, a live-action digital series inspired by the Battlefield video game franchise from ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s Studio71, will be available on Verizon’s go90 beginning September 20.

From Corridor Digital sci-fi filmmakers Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer, Rush: Inspired by Battlefield, focuses on a battle between squads of good and evil. Both are ex-military, both are guns for hire, but only one is in it for profit. It’s a story that questions being a soldier, and what matters most when you’re in an all-out war. Like the game franchise, it teaches protagonist – Zach Miller – what a hero really is, that nobody can win a war all by themselves, and that most times, success results from working together.

The cast includes Lou Ferrigino, Jr., Mark Ford, Jeff Schine, Vlada Verevko, Stephen Chang (Emma Approved), Aqueela Zoll, Brak Little and Steven Ogg (Grand Theft Auto) The digital series is written by Andrew Allen.

Studio71’s Dan Weinstein is Executive Producer. Gary Binkow and Amee Dolleman are producing for Studio71.

“Gaming is one of the most popular forms of entertainment today, and there is a huge appetite for any and all content inspired by video games. We’re bringing gamers one of the most iconic franchises, and we’re doing it with Corridor Digital, who are huge fans Battlefield. They are committed to bringing its all-out war action to a new live-action format,” said Weinstein, President of Studio71.

Corridor Digital’s Gorski and Pueringer previously collaborated with EA and Freddie Wong to create a commercial for Battlefield 3 that quickly went viral online and was then used as part of the game’s national television campaign.
