Nicole Clemens is leaving her post as EVP of Series Development for FX Networks to join Anonymous Content as Manager and Producer. For Clemens, who will focus on talent management and film and TV production, this marks a return to the representation side of the business — she was a lit agent at ICM Partners for 16 years and Head of the agency’s Motion Picture Literary department before she left in 2012 to go to FX.
During her tenure at FX, Clemens oversaw the development such well received original series as Atlanta, Better Things, You’re the Worst, Baskets, Man Seeking Woman, The Strain and the upcoming drama Snowfall and Mayans. Word is that Clemens, who was promoted to EVP a little over a year ago, wanted to return to representing talent as well as produce.

A long-time management staple, Anonymous Content has seen its production business explode in the past few years with a slew of TV series, including True Detective, Mr. Robot, The Knick, Quarry, Berlin Station and the upcoming Thirteen Reasons Why, The Alienist and Counterpart. On the feature side, the company recently produced Oscar winner Spotlight.
