A person has allegedly tried to steal Halle Berry’s house.
Ronald Eugene Griffin has been arrested after he allegedly tried to interrupt into the house of the ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ actress and even managed to have one of many locks modified after claiming he was the brand new proprietor of the property.
According to TMZ, the 59-year-old man first confirmed up at Halle’s property in January the place he allegedly fiddled with the locks, however left after being approached by her gardener.
In March, Ronald then returned to the house, and police acquired a trespassing name from staff on the property who alleged the person had arrived with a locksmith, and had claimed he was the brand new proprietor of the house and had the deed to show it.
Ronald allegedly managed to have one of many locks modified, and is believed to have referred to as police when he was confronted by Halle’s staff, claiming that he owned the house and accusing the employees of trespassing.
Law enforcement sources inform TMZ Ronald maintained he was the proprietor of the house when police arrived on the scene, however LAPD detectives shortly decided he had fraudulently modified the title of the residence.
The man has now been arrested and hit with a felony rely of procuring and providing a false guarantee deed and an extra rely of petty theft.
For 52-year-old Halle, that is the primary time she’s had points with alleged intruders in her house, as again in 2011, she claimed she got here house to discover a man watching her by the glass in her kitchen door.
