Le Luth Doré® Gut For Frets
Le Luth Doré® works with different partners in order to recover the ancient art of traditional sheep-gut hand made string making.
All our LLD® gut for frets are hand-made and polished, based on historical practice and methods handed down from one generation to the next. We use only the finest grade of sheep gut material.
Frets thicker than 1.10mm are harder to tie, and frets thinner than 0.70mm make it difficult for the left-hand technique of a good lute player. This is why we only provide gauges between 0.70mm and 1.10mm.
LLD® gut for frets strings comes in the standard 120cm length and is uncolored.
