There’s only so much kale a girl can eat, so Zoe Saldana has mastered a special skill: She can turn health foods into dessert.

OK, so it’s not quite as impressive as that—there isn’t actual shape-shifting going on here—but who can dispute the power of positive thinking?

“After dinner or right before I go to bed, I like to have a little cup of berries, and I feel so good,” the 38-year-old actress told The Coveteur, adding that the snack is so sweet, “I feel like I’m having chocolate.”

In fact, the naturally-sugared alternative has even replaced her previous guilty pleasure food: “My go-to meal was definitely popcorn a couple of months ago,” Saldana admitted, “but now it’s fruit, especially in the evening.”

Of course, the Star Trek Beyond star didn’t achieve her killer shape on berries alone. Her typical diet includes lots of protein, iron, and an appropriate amount of carbs.

“I make sure that when I do eat, it’s super clean and healthy,” Saldana said.

Saldana and her husband, Marco Perego, apply the same standards to their kids, 20-month-old twins Cy and Bowie. “The best thing we can do for our boys is make sure that they are eating healthy and they are super happy, and that the food they eat doesn’t affect their character or personality,” she said.

The actress also revealed that since giving birth, she’s held off on high-intensity trainer-led workouts. Instead, she’s into power yoga and deep breathing exercises.

“Before the birth of my sons, I’d go to the trainer and let him really push me,” she said. Now, “I like using as little weight as possible because I like staying strong and feeling strong as opposed to looking strong.”
