Zac Efron has shared the most epic of all the epic throwback pics, a flashback to his days on the set of High School Musical. The now 28-year-old shared a pic taken back in 2008 which showed him smiling alongside his co-stars Ashley Tisdale, ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu.
“So grateful I came across this picture,” Efron wrote. “With the o.g. crew during one of the most cherished and exciting times of my life. Love you guys forever.” The picture was taken just two months before the third and final High School Musical film was released.

Earlier this year, the HSM cast reunited without Efron to celebrate the original film’s 10th anniversary. But while Efron couldn’t be there in person he did send in a video message where he said that the cast singing ‘We’re All In This Together’ was his favourite moment.
“The unity, the whole cast in that moment, was just really, really fun,” he said. “I’ll never forget that day. It’s embedded in my mind as one of the most beautiful days of my entire life. Thank you for being a part of this huge High School Musical extravaganza. It’s become the coolest thing that I’ve ever been a part of.”
But recently Efron didn’t seem to fond of his HSM days. Speaking to Men’s Fitness magazine for their June cover story Efron said: “I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy’s ass sometimes.”
