Between Fox, Fox Deportes and Fox Sports GO, the numbers for last night’s match-up of the Indians and Cubs was the most-watched World Series Game airing on a Saturday since 2004’s St. Louis Cardinals vs. Boston Red Sox matchup (23.2 million viewers) and is the most-watched World Series Game 4 since 2009’s New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies game (22.8 million viewers), which aired on a Sunday night. Last night’s 9.3/18 is up 48% over 2014’s World Series Game 4 between the Kansas City Royals and the San Francisco Giants (vs. 6.3/12). Ratings figures were released by Nielsen, with streaming figures from Adobe Analytics.

Previous: Saturday night’s World Series Game 4 delivered a 10.5/19 overnight rating/share according to Nielsen, the best Saturday night World Series rating since 2009’s 10.8/20, for New York Yankees vs. Philadelphia Phillies. With the Cleveland Indians taking a 3-1 series lead over the Chicago Cubs, last night’s game was up +13% over last year (vs. 9.3/17; Kansas City Royals vs. New York Mets) and up +48% over 2014 (vs. 7.1/13; Kansas City Royals vs. San Francisco Giants).

Last night’s game averaged a 10.5/19 in primetime (8:00 – 11:00 PM ET), with Fox finishing in first place in primetime among the metered markets.

Cleveland led all markets by delivering a 39.8/62 overnight rating/share with Chicago posting a 30.1/52.
