Willow Smith‘s date to the Chanel Haute Couture show was tall, dark and handsome. New boyfriend alert? Nope, her arm candy was none other than proud dad Will Smith!
The A-lister was beaming alongside his daughter, already a fashion maven at 15. Willow recently appeared in her first eyewear campaign for the luxury brand and showed off oversized frames on the red carpet. Underneath, she rocked shimmering turquoise eye shadow.
Paris Haute Couture week calls for on-point fashion, and the Smiths did not disappoint. Willow wore a distressed turquoise zip-front top with pockets, perfect for tucking in designer Karl Lagerfeld‘s signature leather fingerless motorcycle gloves. The top matched cropped pants, and she finished the look with a pair of white oxfords with maroon accents.
Will went for a more classic style in an all-black suit and classy black lace-up sneakers.
Willow told The Telegraph that her starring spot in the brand campaign is and should be meaningful for young black women around the world.
“It’s not every day that a 15-year-old black girl with dreads gets elected to be the Chanel ambassador,” she said. “I know a lot of girls that look like me feel that they’re not beautiful and feel like they don’t have a place in the media or a place in the world.”
The Paris event was Willow’s second Chanel show appearance as ambassador for the legendary French house.
