    our 9-10 month old absolutely loves to shake this tambourine. We have a drum, maracas, and a glockenspiel (xylophone). She likes to play with all of them but her face lights up the most when she shakes this. It is the perfect size for her little hands.

    I got this for my son’s first birthday- it’s just the right size. There are no small parts which could injure him unless the tamborine breaks. If you’re watching your child as he plays, yuo really shouldn’t have to worry about giving it to a 1-year old or older.
