The Hills are alive…with the sound of lullabies!
Former MTV reality star Holly Montag is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Richie Wilson. Her younger sister, Heidi Montag, confirmed the happy news via her Twitter account Dec. 23, telling her followers, “Couldn’t be happier for my sister @hollymontag Christmas miracle!!!!! Love you!!!”
Holly, who now works in medical sales, caressed her growing baby bump while posting for a picture with Wilson in front of a Christmas tree. The parents-to-be got tied the knot in September following a one-year engagement. “I married the love of my life,” Holly told People at the time. The wedding took place in Holly’s hometown of Crested Butte, Colo., and she described the ceremony as “magical and intimate.”
Heidi, meanwhile, has made no secret of her desire to have children.
In E!’s 2014 special, Aftershock: Heidi & Spencer, Hills villain Spencer Pratt confessed, “I wouldn’t want to be Spencer Pratt’s kid. I don’t want to have my kid having to Google his parents and be like, ‘Oh my God!'” He added, “I do have a whole lot of concerns about having children, but I’ve decided I don’t have a whole lot of say in the matter!” Meanwhile, his wife said, “You can’t live out of fear. It has to be out of love. I do appreciate though that Spencer is a responsible person and just wants to make the best life for us that he can. So, we’ll see. We’re definitely not trying for kids now, but maybe in the next few years.”

Heidi Instagrammed a picture of a sleeping baby on Dec. 16. “What I’m asking Santa for Christmas!” she wrote in the caption. The next day, she shared a picture of herself visiting a “baby store.” On Christmas Day, she also opened up to In Touch about her plans to procreate with Spencer. “He told me, ‘I don’t want to have kids,’ and I started crying,” the Marriage Boot Camp star said. “When he saw how important it was to me, it changed his heart.” Heidi added that she hopes to either two boys or a boy and a girl, because “boys are easier.”
Despite his initial hesitation, she thinks her husband will be a great father. “Spencer will totally be the softy,” Heidi predicted. “I’m definitely going to be the disciplinarian.”
