The Bachelor’s Erica Rose Is Expecting a Baby Girl

Everything is coming up roses for The Bachelor‘s Erica Rose!

The mom-to-be, who announced her pregnancy Feb. 1, is expecting a daughter in September. “We are so excited to be having a baby girl,” Erica and her fiancé, Galen Gentry, tell E! News exclusively. Erica, famous for wearing a tiara, adds, “Now I finally have someone to hand my tiaras down to! The next step will be designing a dream princess nursery: all pink everything!”

This will be the first child for Erica and Galen.

From the beginning, Erica has kept it real when it comes to sharing tidbits about her pregnancy on social media. “Okay so I have gone overboard with my pregnancy weight gain,” she tweeted Feb. 16. “Today it’s time to get back on track! #preggersprobs.” On March 10, the Bachelor Pad vet shared more “#pregnantgirlprobz,” telling her followers, “I miss going out and looking hot!”

Pregnancy problems aside, Erica has a lot to look forward to in the coming months. In addition to preparing for their daughter’s fall arrival, Erica and Galen are in the midst of planning their wedding. “It’s May 1. It’s a shotgun wedding. I’ve always wanted that, though,” Erica told host Chris Harrison when ABC’s The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love aired on Valentine’s Day. “It’s cute because we only dated for like eight weeks, just like in the Bachelor world,” she joked. The couple met through work, as Erica is the director of business development for Gentry Law Group, where Galen is an attorney. “They fell in love at first sight! She was really ready to have a baby and they started trying,” her rep told E! News last month. “Erica’s family is super excited. When Erica’s father heard the news, he said he wanted to throw a big Texas wedding! Though no plans are confirmed yet. They are really looking forward to the new addition to the family.”

Erica rose to fame after competing for Prince Lorenzo Borghese‘s heart during The Bachelor‘s ninth season in 2006; she was sent home in the third week. She later appeared on Bachelor Pad‘s second and third seasons in 2011 and 2012, as well as Vh1’s reality series You’re Cut Off!.
