Taylor Swift turned 26 on Sunday and with it being December and all, what better way was there to celebrate than with a Christmas themed-bash? Swift and her friends (including beau Clavin Harris) enjoyed a very festive party to mark the singer’s special day and even Santa Claus turned up.
Taylor Swift celebrated her birthday with a Christmas-themed bash.
Swift marked her birthday on Instagram, by posting an adorable throwback photo of herself as a youngster, wearing a Little mermaid sweatshirt. ‘Today I begin my 26th year of freaking out over stuff,’ Swift captioned the picture.

For her celebrations, Swift was joined by friends along with her mother Andrea, boyfriend Calvin Harris and DJ Snake at a party reportedly held at Apple executive Jimmy Iovine’s Malibu home. Iovine’s son Jamie shared a picture of himself alongside Swift and Harris on Instagram with the caption, ‘I was just adopted by @calvinharris and @taylorswift mom and dad are gonna show me the good life now.’
Also in attendance at the bash were Santa and Mrs Claus, who were on hand to hear guests’ Christmas wishes and there were also live penguins and a snow-covered hill for sleighing, according to People. Guests are also said to have serenaded Swift with a special rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’.
Swift also used her big day to announce she had struck a deal with Apple to exclusively release a concert video of her recent world tour through streaming service, Apple Music. The ‘1989 World Tour Live’ concert video will be released on December 20th, with Swift sharing the trailer on twitter on Sunday.

In the trailer Swift talks about wondering what it would be like to perform in front of 70,000 people and also asks, ”I wondered what would happen if I invited some of the most amazing artists in the world to come out with me and perform on my stage — would they do it?” Swift will also be interview by Zane Lowe tonight (December 14th) on his Beats radio show.
