Tate Donovan (Manchester By The Sea), Katie Cassidy (Arrow), and Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo) will topline the dark romantic comedy Grace, written and directed by Devin Adair. The trio is joined by Mircea Monroe, Debby Ryan, Missi Pyle, Michael Madson, Gail Bean, Annie Ilonzeh, and Hugo Armstrong in the indie film that marks first project from Ouroboros Entertainment.

The pic follows Charlie Ellison (Donovan), a formally famous writer living in a world of faded glory and writers block whose best friend and agent, Bernie (Lillard) has spent the advance on Elliston’s upcoming novel and is being stalked by his publisher, the IRS, loan sharks and his wife. In an effort to get a first draft, Bernie sends a belligerent young woman, Dawn (Cassidy) to inspire and check on Charlie… but she has ideas of her own.

Ouroboros’ founder Laure Sudreau and New Artists Alliance’s Gabriel Cowan are producing the film, which has a planned release for summer next year.

Donovan is repped by Gersh, Cassidy is with CAA and Anonymous Content, and Lillard is repped by the Paradigm Agency and Silver Lining Entertainment.
