Supergirl, meet the Super Girl Scouts.
Melissa Benoist, who plays DC heroine Kara Zor-El, met a young troupe of 6-year-old Girl Scouts on the set of CBS’ Supergirl. The actress, 26, posted a couple of photos from the occasion to Instagram, and they might just melt your hearts.
“The Super Girl Scouts of Oklahoma dropped by National City today,” she wrote. “and I’m pretty sure we had a good time.”
“The Supergirls,” as the troupe calls themselves, is a group of Girl Scout Daisies from the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma. According to the Girl Scout Blog, these mini-heroes invented a battery-powered page-turner made from LEGO bricks for people suffering from arthritis, paralysis, and/or loss of limbs. Back in March, they attended the White House Science Fair and, according to President Obama, they said this was “just a prototype.”
Their visit with Supergirl comes a couple months after Benoist surprised a gathering of 400 moms and daughters at a special screening. After showing the pilot episode of Supergirl, the actress popped out from behind the curtain to meet, greet and take pictures with her adoring, adorable fans.
Supergirl will premiere Oct. 26 at 8:30 pm ET on CBS. Check out the photos of this super team-up below.
