Sean “Diddy” Combs has something he wants to get off his chest: He’s sorry for acting like an “a–hole.”

The 46-year-old rapper and producer, also known as Puff Daddy, poured his heart out in a confessional selfie video posted early Saturday on Twitter and Instagram.

“All this week I’ve been really trying to work on being conscious of how I speak to people,” he said, walking around shirtless. “Sometimes I’m very, very harsh. At the end of the day, I’m just trying to, you know, get better. I was just on a phone call and I didn’t really like the way it was going down…so I said, ‘Let me call you back.’ And I think that was the best thing.”

“So I feel like I’m getting better every day and all I can do is try,” he added. “And to anybody out there, if I ever talked to you wrong or like an a–hole, I’m sorry. I’m a work in progress and I’m gonna get better. I think that we can all get better. I truly believe that people can change and I want to be a shining example of changing for the better, going up. I’m just sharing all my thoughts…have a beautiful day. Team Love.”

Diddy did not name anyone in his confession.

His video drew praise from many of his fans.

“Love u diddy….that shows growth!” one person wrote on Instagram.

“It takes a real man to admit when he has an issue and apologize and work on it….I’m proud of you,” another person said.
