‘Saturday Night Live’ Accused Of Plagiarizing

Once again “Saturday Night Live” has landed in an awkward spot. The show was accused of plagiarizing a popular sketch, “Picture Perfect,” that appeared in the Reese Witherspoon-hosted episode last weekend. The sketch featured a “Win, Lose Or Draw” parody that asked participants to draw the Prophet Mohammed and somewhat referred to Charlie Hebdo. It was widely praised when it aired.

But some viewers noted that it seemed similar to one that appeared on Canadian show “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” in January, featuring nearly identical plot points and jokes. One of the show’s writers Bobby Kerr tweeted about the resemblance:
