Congratulations are in order for Sara Haines!
The ABC News correspondent revealed some big news on Good Morning America this Sunday! As it turns out, the Weekend Pop News Anchor is expecting a baby!
“Congratulations to @SaraHaines on the announcement that she is having a baby boy!” the morning show announced in the 8 a.m. hour. Paula Faris added, “Our boo is having a boy! We couldn’t be happier for you @SaraHaines XOXO.”
This will be the first child for Haines and her husband Max Shifrin who got married in November 2014.

Many may recognize Haines from when she was a contributing correspondent to Today. In fact, she appeared with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb during the fourth hour for more than three years. Most recently, Haines has filled in as a guest co-host on The View and Live! With Kelly and Michael.
As the early riser begins her journey to motherhood, Haines knows she has plenty of support from her husband, two dogs Peter and Trixie and many morning show faces.
“Whoo-hoooo breaking news a baby on the way for @sarahaines. I think she is terrific,” Gayle King wrote on Instagram. “She’s got one of the best smiles on TV! And today she’s got a good reason baby on the way. Congrats to you @SaraHaines!!!”
Today correspondent Jenna Bush Hager added, “Congrats to my body double, and one of the most fun friends I have, @SaraHaines! You’re sure to be an awesome mama. XX”
