Sam Worthington and his girlfriend Lara Bingle are reportedly being sued by a paparazzo for $ 10 million.

38-year-old Worthington reportedly attacked photographer Sheng Li in February of this year when Li allegedly attacked Bingle. Apparently the couple, who have been dating for more than a year, were walking in Greenwich Village, New York when Sheng reportedly kicked Bingle in the shin. In response, Worthington attacked Sheng.
Video footage, as the Mail reports, appears to show Sheng pushed against the bonnet of a car whilst Worthington loomed over him. Reportedly, Worthington not only assaulted Sheng but also attempted to steal his camera.

Both Worthington and Sheng were arrested. Worthington was charged with assault and Sheng was charged with reckless endangerment, assault and harassment, as TMZ reports. After a number of court appearances in which Sheng started to claim Bingle had caused the fight, the case was eventually dismissed in May 2014.
However, Sheng is not about to let the incident drop and has filed a lawsuit against the couple. The suit alleges Worthington and Bingle made false statements about 37-year-old Sheng to the New York Police Department, and slander and libel are both listed.
Furthermore, the suit also claims Sheng is still suffering physically from the alleged attack. Reports claimed Sheng suffered from a torn shoulder, facial contusions, and injuries to his hands and wrist. As the Mail reports, Sheng may also need surgery at the cost of $ 50,000.
