ABC confirmed the news on Thursday (July 10) with an announcement on Twitter that read, “It’s official! ABC confirms Rosie O’Donnell returns as co-host of #TheView w/ moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18.”
Rosie’s rumored return caused a firestorm of comments from Rosie’s former co-hosts including Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar.
