Given his long and successful career in Tinseltown, Robert De Niro is certainly accustomed to high-profile events and star-filled guest lists.
And last night (October 7) the “Meet The Parents” star was the guest of honor at the Friars Foundation Gala at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City.
Among the distinguished guests were actors like Orlando Bloom, Kit Harington and DeNiro’s “Casino” costar Sharon Stone.
Robert was given the Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award and Chairman Joseph Zappala declared, “Adding Robert De Niro to the Club’s Icon Award honor roll is a testament to his incredible talents and reveres his place in the highest entertainment echelon.”
