Making for a truly epic trio, Mindy Kaling, Zooey Deschanel and Lupita Nyong’o met up at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday night (May 4).
The fashionistas all opted for a bold lip, which the “Office” actress happily noted in her Instagram shot, which read, “They fought crime with a bold lip. @ZooeyDeschanel @Lupita_Nyongo #whcd. Thanks @NewYorker.”
Zooey also had her commentary for the night, reminiscing on one of Joel McHale’s jokes, tweeting, “#Totalsausagefest @joelmchale #WHCAdinner”
Mindy, Zooey and Lupita weren’t the only lovely actresses in Washington, D.C. for the epic night. Fellow Hollywood folk including Jessica Simpson, Olivia Munn, Kristen Bell, Robert De Niro, Jared Leto and AnnaSophia Robb all managed to snag a seat at the increasingly famous political event.
