The National Board of Review has selected A24’s Manchester By The Sea as its Best Film, with star Casey Affleck landing Best Actors honors. The film took four honors total including Best Director for Kenneth Lonergan and Breakthrough Actor for Lucas Hedges.
Moonlight, which won Best Picture last night at the Gotham Awards, won Best Director today for Barry Jenkins and Best Supporting Actress for Naomie Harris. Amy Adams won Best Actress for Arrival, which was also named to the board’s annual list of of top 10 films of the year.
