    My son has used music maker at home for years. He”s a professional musician and likes to record in his spare time. He loves music maker and loves the fact that he gets one from me every year for Christmas..The above review was not fair to the seller!

    this is a great program,my son has had a blast with this.you can make a song in no time.this is a non commercial program,which means you wont get paid for your songs,but it will let you post song to facebook,soundcloud and youtube.i would buy only hard copy of program,it is hard to get a hold of customer service. DLC program from magix is hard to figure out.you can make some neat songs to jam out.

    I’ve purchased two versions of this software (2012 and 2014) for all the budding music makers in my family to use. One is on my laptop and the other is for my grandson who does amazing things with it. He even produced music for intermission at a school event. His understanding of music creation has skyrocketed through the use of this software. A very good product.

    The con: If my laptop is not connected to the internet via WI-fi (i.e. it is connected through the Ethernet cable) the 2012 version of the software does not recognize it as an authentic installation. Since the 2014 version is on a PC connected by Ethernet we could not test to see if this version has the same issue.
