Macaulay Culkin‘s latest project is what the French call “la magnifique”…but say “au revoir” to your childhood.
The 35-year-old actor and rock star reprises his breakout, iconic role as Home Alone‘s Kevin McCallister in the first episode of Jack Dishel‘s new NSFW digital series :DRYVRS, a show that parodies Uber and Lyft driving experiences.
The video was released on Thursday, about 25 years after the film came out. Plenty of time to get over all the hijinks that ensued, right? Wrong. You didn’t think a kid being left home alone on Christmas wouldn’t result in some Mommy issues, did you? Culkin then laments to Dishel about the trauma.
“I defend…my house from two psychopath home invaders. I was just a kid. I mean, I still have nightmares about like, this bald weirdo dude chasing me around, talking like Yosemite Sam—’I’m gonna pull your fingernails out’…They don’t even curse. Call me like, ‘Louse’ and s–t like that,” he says, putting a cigarette in his mouth.
“They remembered my bastard of a brother but they forget me—the cutest f–king 8-year-old in the universe, by far,” he says, adding, “My house was such a f–king zoo. I couldn’t even eat a slice of pizza without having to go to war or something like that.”

But his Home Alone experience was also rather productive and helped him learn some interesting skills. The two are then confronted by a would-be hijacker, who gets a taste of precisely what Kevin is capable of.
In the clip, Culkin also pokes fun at one of his real-life experiences: Marrying his childhood sweetheart. The actor wed Rachel Miner in 1998, when both were just 17. They split after two years.
