Yeah, so are we, and so is LL Cool J! The Lip Sync Battle host caught up with E! News’ Sibley Scoles Thursday when he received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As the star of NCIS: Los Angeles and host of the 2016 Grammy Awards, LL’s a very busy guy, but the memory of Queen Bey’s not-so-surprise appearance with Channing is still fresh on his mind!
“It was amazing. It was unbelievable,” he said. “She did her thing, and your boy Channing killed it, too!”

Fortunately, Lip Sync Battle has been renewed by Spike for a third season, and yes, both LL Cool J and commentator Chrissy Teigen will be back, too! Hopefully we’ll get more Channing and Bey moments, and we’ll definitely get some fun LL and Chrissy banter. Speaking of which, we knew about Beyoncé’s not-so-surprise appearance with Chan since October, but did everyone at Lip Sync Battle know, too?
“Yeah, I knew she was coming on,” LL told E! News with a smile. “Sometimes I know about the guests, sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I need to know for copy reasons, but other times, I tell ’em don’t tell me because I want my reaction to be natural and true and real.”
In the case of Beyoncé, Jenna Dewan Tatum was shocked enough for us all.
