The buddy cop genre has definitely produced some amazing flicks and “Let’s Be Cops” could very well be the next winner.
In the new red band trailer, Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr show off their on-screen chemistry in the tradition of Mel Gibson and Danny Glover and Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas.
Also starring Rob Riggle, Nina Dobrev, James D’Arcy and Andy Garcia, “Let’s Be Cops” is slated to hit theaters on August 13th.
Per the synopsis, “Two struggling pals dress as police officers for a costume party and become neighborhood sensations. But when these newly-minted ‘heroes’ get tangled in a real life web of mobsters and dirty detectives, they must put their fake badges on the line.”
