Just over a week after being hacked and seeing her personal information and private photographs posted online, Leslie Jones was back online today with praise for TV comedies old and new.
Absent from Twitter since August 23, the Saturday Night Live cast member and Ghostbusters star gave digital shout-outs to The Golden Girls and HBO’s Vice Principals on Saturday.

The comedian’s marathon viewing on Logo of NBC’s late 1980s running sitcom got a couple of mentions but Jones said nothing of last month’s hack or the subsequent Homeland Security investigation.

While Jones was back online today, her personal website remained down with a GoDaddy holding page replacing the site. Earlier this summer Jones quit Twitter on July 18 for a few days after being the subject of hateful attacks related to the Paul Feig-directed all-female Ghostbusters. The actress raised the matter with the microblogging site, who consequently banned Breitbart columnist Milo Yiannopoulos was banned permanently for his part in the attacks on Jones and breaking the platform’s policy on such behavior.
Jones returned to Twitter on July 21 and, after a series of enthusiastic TeamUSA tweets, was invited by NBC Olympics EP Jim Bell on August 7 to come to Rio as a correspondent for the Comcast-owned net – which she did, including appearing on-air with Ryan Seacrest.
The second return of Jones to social media comes one day after Yiannopoulos defended his online actions in an interview with ABC’s Nightline. “Trolling is very important. I like to think of myself as a virtuous troll, you know? I’m doing God’s work,” said Yiannopoulos. “This idea that celebrities are these fragile wallflowers. Give me a break. That the stars of Hollywood blockbusters are sitting at home crying into their iPhone.”
As well as being back online tonight, Jones will be joining her fellow SNLers on the Season 42 premiere on October 1.
