Attention family and friends of Laverne Cox: Your Christmas gift likely isn’t going to be as good as this one!
Less than a week before the special holiday arrives, the Orange Is the New Black star got an unexpected treat in her mailbox.
Turns out she was on the list to receive Beyonce‘s annual Christmas card!
“So when I opened this holiday card a few days ago and read Love @Beyonce I literally fell to the floor,” she wrote on Instagram. “I was on the floor of my apartment. I have witnesses.”
Oh we totally believe her. Why? Because we obviously would have done the exact same thing!

While the entire card remains a secret, Cox admitted to receiving a sweatshirt with the words “Cake by the Pound” inscribed. It also appears that Queen Bey signed every card individual. So personal , right?
“Thanks Bey for the gift,” Cox shared. “I have had an awesome year and this is certainly a highlight. Happy holidays to you and your beautiful family.”
She added, “Thanks for all the amazing music and endless inspiration you’ve given to me and so many over the past 16 years. Since No No No I have been saying YASSS YASSS YASSS! #QueenBey foever.”

Before Thanksgiving even arrived, the “Crazy in Love” singer was posting pictures of Blue Ivy Carter in front of a massive (and fabulous) Christmas tree. She would later post a picture of herself with a Chanel shopping bag by the tree.
