While rumors have been flying around the internet all month, Katy Perry may have just confirmed her halftime show appearance at the upcoming Super Bowl XLIX.
Over the weekend, the “Hot N Cold” songstress took to her Twitter account with a cryptic tweet that many consider to be an affirmation that she’ll take the stage on February 1st at the University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Perry wrote, “Ahh, Sunday…Nothing but sitting on the couch, watching my new favorite sport…” and even added a tiny brown football icon.
In a previous interview, Katy made it known that if the Super Bowl folks wanted her for the gig, there would be no ‘pay to play’ talk in the negotiations. “I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl.”
