Model Gigi Hadid turned down a date with Joe Jonas when she was 13.
The beauty and her beau have been dating since May (15) but she admits the former Jonas Brothers star first asked her out seven years ago.
She tells Periscope, “We met at the Grammys when I was 13 years old and he asked me to a baseball game, and I said, ‘No’.
“I was so nervous; I literally didn’t even know what it meant to hang out with a boy… Also, the Grammys are on a Sunday, and I didn’t want to tell him that I had school the next day, so I was like, ‘No, maybe next time’.”
But Jonas kept in touch and snagged Hadid after she split from Cody Simpson earlier this year.
The model adds, “We’ve been friends ever since. Except now. We’re more than friends, obvs (obviously).”
