Windows 7 Installation (Ensure all windows updates are up to date and installed and the driver should be in the list of drivers):
– Open Device Manager
– Right click on “Unknown Device”
– Click on “Update Driver Software…”
– Click “Browse my computer for driver software”
– Click on “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”
– Click on “Microsoft Common Controller For Windows Class” and click Next
– Select “Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [8/13/2009]” and click next
– You will get a warning message. Click “Yes”
– Upon the completion of the installation you will see a “Windows has successfully updated your driver software”
