EXCLUSIVE: WME has signed writer/director Ruben Ostlund. The signing was made after his film Force Majeure became one of the talked up films at the Toronto Film Festival last month. This after the pic was awarded the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, where it made its world premiere. Force Majeure has continued to play the festival circuit and was recently named the official Swedish entry for the Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film. Magnolia Pictures will release it in the U.S. on October 24th.
