This is a very small and very unobtrusive tuner. There’s a tiny clamp to attach it to the headstock and all that shows on the front of the guitar is an about one inch piece of black plastic.

Pros: Easy to use. Pluck the string. If it’s off, the string letter turns up red with bars along the high or low side. Tune in the direction needed until there’s one bar on each side of the string name– like this– lEl –and the string name turns green–and the E string is in tune. It’s fast and easy. I compared it to a high priced clip on tuner and it was dead accurate. I removed the expensive one and left this one on, if that indicates anything.

Only one concern. The ‘ratchet’ mechanism that opens the thing to grip the headstock is all plastic and felt quite flimsy. There were also no instructions on how to open it properly. I was afraid I would break it putting it on and am still afraid it might not be durable for long.

I’ll add to this review if it lasts or breaks…
