Throwing him into a new role, the first trailer for “Blackhat” starring Chris Hemsworth hit the web this week.
The flick stars the “Thor” hunk as a convicted computer hacker who is enlisted to track down an evil fellow-hacker who threatened to attack the world’s cyberspace.
“Blackhat” is directed by Michael Mann and also stars Viola Davis, John Ortiz and William Mapother.
Per the synopsis, “A furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.”
The flick is scheduled to hit theaters on January 16, 2015. Check out the trailer in the player above!
