No, Brody Jenner isn’t picking up a dress for Bruce Jenner. But so what if he was?
The reality star was photographed grabbing a gorgeous red dress from the dry cleaners, and was subsequently part of a speculative headline concerning his father, who recently revealed that he is transitioning into a woman.
(At this time, Bruce Jenner has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)
The X17 report read, “Is Brody Jenner Buying a Dress for Dad Bruce?” That clearly didn’t sit well with Brody, so he took a moment to call them out on Instagram.

Posting a screenshot of his photo with the dress and the speculative headline, Brody began the IG caption with hysterically laughing emoji faces.
And then he wrote, “this s–t is too funny. @kaitlynn_carter look what happens when you make me pick up your dry cleaning!! Now please go grab the boys two 30 packs and a bottle of Jack for @dingomorrison XXL nomination after party. #havesomef–kingrespectX17 #youaintTMZ”
Yeah, he was picking up the dress for his girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter, which is adorable by the way.
“I was terrified to tell the children,” Jenner, 65, told Diane Sawyer during his candid interview last week. “Every single one of them. I can’t let myself hurt them. How do I do this and not hurt my children?”
But the news didn’t come as a shock to his 31-year-old son. “I thought, ‘It finally makes sense,’ ” Brody explained during the interview. Meanwhile, his brother Brandon said, “When you’re that close to someone, there are clues you can see. I feel like I’m getting an upgraded version of my dad, of a parent.”
