Britney Spears Kicks Off Summer With a “Much Needed”

New season, new haircut for the one and only Britney Spears.

While enjoying some rest and relaxation at home with her sons, the “Piece of Me” singer found time to receive a fresh trim. What she ended up with was a new look perfect for the summer season.

“A very much needed haircut,” Britney wrote on Instagram while posing for not one, not two, but four selfies that showed off her cut.

While she still has her signature blond locks, fans could tell that the singer cut a few noticeable inches off. Looking good, right?

The new do comes after the 2016 Billboard Music Awards winner kicked off Memorial Day weekend with her two boys in Malibu, Calif.

While hanging out with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, the proud mom did the dab while posing for a hilarious Instagram. And yes, we know Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton loves the move every time he gets a touchdown.

“Chillin in the bu,” Britney wrote on Instagram while perfecting the signature dance.

Ultimately, fans will see plenty of other dance moves when they experience her Las Vegas show. While she’s taking much of the summer off to spend time with family, the “Circus” singer still has a few select days scheduled at The Axis inside the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

And yes, fans can witness those new costumes and hear all the big hits during one unforgettable show.

“I just really really love this show and this city,” Britney recently shared with E! News’ Marc Malkin. “I’m so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me.”
