    We purchased this as well as the trumpet and sax. We like them all, but this one is by far the best. It is the easiest for our 3 year old and 18 month old to play. The keys are the easiest to move (some of the sax’s keys are very hard to press, and no sound comes out without at least one key pressed – except for the high whistle that can be produced if you blow really hard). The mouthpiece on the clarinet is the easiest for the kids to use. The trumpet is less fun since it is harder to play recognizable songs due to the small amount of keys, but they seem to like the way it feels to hold it. The trumpet and clarinet are the easiest to hold. We have had them for over 8 months and everything is holding up well. We are very glad we purchased all of them, but if someone is able to only get one, or is looking to give one as a present or something – we HIGHLY recommend getting the clarinet.
