The showbiz world was shocked to the core when glamourous A-List couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie called it quits but it seems the pair are not hanging around to see whether they can patch things up for the sake of their fans – instead they’re selling off their homes.

The former power couple have got rid of their property in the New Orleans French Quarter for $4.9 million (£4million).
Angelina filed for divorce in September citing irreconcilable differences and throwing their moniker of the Golden Couple into disarray.

Jolie and the couple’s six kids – Maddox, 15, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins, Vivenne and Knox, eight – have been living apart from Brad since the split.
The pair bought the sprawling 1830s-era mansion in 2007 after Hurricane Katrina for $3.5million (£2.8million) and Pitt established the Make It Right Foundation to boost the development of new housing in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward neighbourhood.

The house has three-storeys, five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two half-baths and was sold for a “very-fair price”.
The actors were eventually married at Château Miraval in the South of France – the wine estate that the couple bought for $60million (£49million) – but it appears they have yet to sell that.
