Alex Rich (True Detective) has booked a recurring role in GLOW, Netflix’s 10-episode straight-to-series comedy executive produced by Orange Is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan. Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch and starring Alison Brie and Marc Maron, GLOW was inspired by the real story of the 1980s female wrestling league. Set in Los Angeles, the series tells the fictionalized story of Ruth (Brie), an out-of-work, struggling actress who finds one last attempt to live her dreams when she’s thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women’s wrestling via a weekly series about female wrestlers. Rich will play Florian, Bash’s (Chris Lowell) childhood best friend turned butler. Rich, who recently appeared in Season 2 of True Detective, is repped by Authentic Talent & Literary Management and Weintraub Tobin.

Jennifer Landon has booked a recurring role on the second season of TNT’s Animal Kingdom. The series, from John Wells Prods. in association with Warner Horizon Television, centers on 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody (Finn Cole), who moves in with his wild, freewheeling grandmother (Ellen Barkin) and uncles in their Southern California beach town after his mother ODs. Landon will play Amy, whom Pope (Shawn Hatosy) meets at the megachurch where she works. Amy has been through the ringer, made life-altering mistakes and is seeking redemption through her faith. She runs a Bible study group and ex-con rehabilitation program, steadfast in her belief that salvation and forgiveness are possible. A three-time Daytime Emmy winner for As the World Turns, Landon recently recurred on Cinemax’s Banshee. She’s repped by manager Nathan Ament and attorney Matthew Wallerstein.
