With hosts like John Cena and Victoria Justice, performances by Jason Derulo and Charlie Puth and celebrity attendees like Justin Timberlake, Kobe Bryant and Jennifer Garner, we came into the 2016 Teen Choice Awards with pretty high standards…and we weren’t let down!

The show was filled with moments that made us laugh and moments that made us cry, moments that got us up and dancing out of our chairs and moments that had us glued to the TV.

With that being said, here are the 8 biggest jaw-droppers of the night:

1. Victoria’s Entrance: The former Nickelodeon star kicked off the show in a fabulous way, being carried in by a group of men on a surfboard as she challenged Cena to a wrestling match (though we’re not so sure we’d place our bets on her).

2. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Make an Appearance: Ok, well sort of. In order to encourage teens to vote, Keegan-Michael Key introduced the “candidates” on stage and allowed the audience and viewers to vote throughout the show for who they want to become our next president. At the conclusion of the awards, Key announced Hillary Clinton as the winner!

3. Kobe Bryant Honors Justin Timberlake: Two legends, one stage. The basketball star honored J.T. with the Decade Award, noting that he has 23 surfboards, which sets the record for any person in the history of the Teen Choice Awards.

The singer left fans with a huge message, encouraging teens to “be the greatest generation yet.”

4. Jennifer Garner’s Message: The actress and her young Miracles from Heaven costar, Kiley Rogers, got together on stage after winning the award for Choice Drama Movie for the film. Upon accepting the surfboard, Garner left a special message for all the children fighting their own battles: “Thanks to everyone, we were definitely the underdog in this category. That’s so exciting. It’s amazing to us the impact this movie was able to have, and have all your guys appreciate it means the world to us.”

She concluded, “All the kids who are in a hospital waiting for a miracle, don’t give up hope!”

5. Jessica Alba and Ne-Yo Plead to Stop the Violence: The actress was joined on-stage by ten teens whose families have been affected by shootings across the nation lately, introducing them in a touching moment that had the audience in tears. Ne-Yo came on after for a performance of “What’s Going On,” which they followed with a plea to ask viewers to help stop gun violence by posting a photo of the teens to social media with the hashtag #StopTheViolence.

6. Serayah’s First Live TV Performance: The Empire star slayed the stage with her first-ever live television performance. She sang “Look But Don’t Touch” and included some seriously amazing choreography.

7. Victoria’s Many Outfits: The host changed at least five times throughout the show, rocking several cool and colorful ensembles, from a metallic mini frock to a multi-colored skirt combo and even a wrestling outfit!

In fact, the actress had teased her many looks to E! News last week, explaining, “I have five different looks that I’ve picked out for the show. I’m not sure that I’m going to be wearing all of them, but they’re so cool. They’re all very different, which I love.”

Looks like she made ’em work!

8. Jason Derulo’s Performance: The show ended on a high-note (literally) as the R&B singer took the stage and performed a medley of his hit songs, which of course included all of his best dance moves!
