Zara Larsson isn’t a fan of ”crazy parties”.
The 19-year-old singer has said that despite being a ”night owl”, she’d much rather spend her evenings curled up in bed, rather than hitting the town until the early hours.
She said: ”I don’t have crazy parties until the early hours. I wish I could say I did! But, despite being a night owl, I’m very sensible with my sleep. I need it to feel and sound good on stage. Sleeping on tour is hard because it’s bumpy on the road at night and the beds aren’t too comfy, but I try to nod off by midnight. The wildest thing we’ve probably done is stay up late watching a film and eating sweets!”
And even though she tries to get to bed at a reasonable time, the ‘Lush Life’ singer admits she sometimes won’t wake up until almost midday.
She added: ”I’m really lazy. If I’m on tour the I’ll wake up on the bus at 11am. It’s a bit like camping because I have a bunk bed! I’m not a huge breakfast person. I can never be bothered to cook anything in the morning, so usually my tour manager will make me a superfruit smoothie, which will kick-start my day.”
The ‘Never Forget You’ hitmaker isn’t always so lazy though, as she admits she loves to ”go exploring” around new places whenever she’s on tour.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she said: ”At midday I’ll go exploring. Touring is great fun because the band, dancers and crew members are like my best friends. During the day we’ll wander around the city we’re in, then head back to the tour bus to chill for a couple of hours. We’re good at entertaining ourselves by watching films, mucking about, or just relaxing.”
