Spock has some serious moves!
On an upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle, Star Trek Beyond‘s Zachary Quinto channels Missy Elliott for a rousing performance of her 2001 hit, “Get Ur Freak On.” Quinto isn’t phoning it in here, either—he’s rocking a wig, red lipstick, giant hoop earrings and a head-to-doe bedazzled denim ensemble that is oh-so-very early 2000s.
Even Zoe Saldana, Quinto’s Lip Sync Battle opponent, looks impressed by her co-star’s dancing. The actress doubles over laughing, and hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigenare in stitches watching Quinto channeling the R&B star, too.
So will the real Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott join Quinto onstage à la Beyoncé and Channing Tatum? We’ll have to wait and see. The highly anticipated Zachary Quinto vs. Zoe Saldana one-hour super-sized episode of Lip Sync Battle airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on Spike.
